The Pondicheny Psychology Association (Regd) is a private (non governmental), voluntary organization formed by the psychologists from Pondicherry as well as other places. The association has started on 1st January, 2000 with the motto of advancement of psychology as a profession, science and for human welfare promotion. The panel of association includes Psychologists, Clinicians, Researchers, Educationists, Psychology students and Faculty.
The association is governed by elected heads of the council.For recognition of the services offered by psychologists, the association confers ‘Best Psychologist Award’ for Professionals and Educationists. The association offers services in publishing research papers, conducting national and international conferences, counsellings etc. Publication of a quarterly newsletter with the name ‘Indian Psychologist’ as a private communication to the members is being done by the The Pondicherry Psychology Association.

- ‘Best Psychologist award’ 2001 to Prof. T.V.A. Raghavan, Former Professor and Head, Dept. of Psychology of Annamalai University
